Project: The Color of Language

What is the color of language, and are there similarities between them? By using English, German, and Japanese I decided to explore those relationships as well as seeing if certain descriptive color words are mostly derived from things that are that particular shade (ie: “Rosa” “Midori” “Orange” in both English and German, etc). Each language has the same 7 colors, which is also represented in the splashes of color that is in the background, and the word “Color” in each language is also weaved into those splashes to show the connection.
