Design Principles | A great refresher on design principles and how to best utilize them.
The Letterform Archive | A curated collection of over 85,000 items related to lettering, typography, calligraphy, and graphic design, spanning thousands of years of history. Also, is one of the best graphic design research sources on the web
Bauhaus Worksheets | Fun design exercises based on Bauhaus principles from the Archiv in Berlin
Flaunt | A great resource for how-tos on designing effective and memorable portfolios of creative work
Typographic Posters | An online a reference platform for typographic and graphic posters from all around the world.
Spoongraphics | Another nice site with lots of Illustrator tutorials.

Stock Photography:

Istock Photos | The granddaddy of all inexpensive stock photography sites.
Pexels | A great free resource for stock photography.
Free Images | Another great resource for free images.

Fonts:

T26 Type Foundry | Has a lot of great alternative fonts.
Hoefler and Co | A well curated type foundry featuring well designed fonts from type designers. Famous for designing long-lived typefaces marked by high performance and high style, Hoefler and Co creates the fonts that give voice to the world’s foremost institutions, publications, causes, and brands.
Type Together | An indie type foundry with a nice selection of international fonts, including Arabic and Bengali.
A2-Type An online type foundry based out of the U.K. that has beautiful, well designed typefaces.
